About

People say I’m an author because I have six published books. I give the glory to the Lord Jesus because He’s my inspiration and the real Author. There’s no way I could do it without His help!

Hi, I’m Sue.  Thank you for taking an interest in my blog. This isn’t an instruction manual on how to write books, get published, etc. It’s my adventures with my pen. It may surprise you and hopefully inspire you and maybe even give you a chuckle or two.

I am the founder and C.E.O. of Elah Ministries, Inc. Plus I guess I’m also referred to as a “blogger” because I have two blogs plus a Facebook site and am honored to write for http://www.inspirationalchristiansfortoday.wordpress.com

If you are a survivor of childhood sexual abuse you may be interested in joining my Cyber Support Group blog. http://www.cybersupportgroup.org

Hi Sue C. Great blog 😀

  2. Hello Sue
what a wonderful blog and great author. 5 published books. .wow! It was so great. I have yearning to write a book and still on doing.. Many love and blessings.
    Karina.

  3. 5 books! Focus and diligence to envy. No one writes 5 books without that dynamic duo.

    • I tell everyone, and believe it myself, “the Lord does the writing, I just hold the pen.” Thank you. I hope you enjoy my posts. Blessings to you.

  4. Hello Sue!
I look forward to really diving into your blog. Also, thank you for following my blog at Faith1st Ministries. I hope it has and will continue to be a major blessing in your life. May God richly bless you as you continue to write and blog. Please continue with us on this journey and remember to have Faith 1st because the “just shall live by his faith.” — Sebastian

  5. Well Sue, God HAS blessed you as I enjoyed the couple of posts already and I was just coming to tell you thanks for checking out my new blog! I find inspiration in so many areas and I know that it is the work of the Holy Spirit leading, as you shared with us in “Lord, but you said . . . .” I want to say that I made a mistake many, many years ago when I told the Lord, I would go anywhere He wanted me too, or do anything He wanted me too! Well, in hindsight of course it wasn’t a “mistake” but boy did He take me at my word!!
I would also like to say I was obedient in every instance, but something else I told the Lord was I wanted to be like David, you remember, the man after God’s own heart?! Well look at David’s life, he wasn’t obedient always either!! But oh do we ever learn big time, when we DO listen and follow and yes, even when we don’t. Of course his friend, the prophet Samuel said it best, that “obedience is better than sacrifice!”
I know the Lord brought you my way so that I may follow your writing. I love your casual yet very “informative” style. Oh, I believe you, “wink, wink” that your writing is not an instruction manual, but where best to learn than from those who have walked the walk and talked the talk, whether “perfect” every time or not!!
So, until I can come back and spend more time (which I WILL) I pray God’s gracious and abundant blessings on your and yours and especially as you continue to minister from your heart to your brothers and sisters in the Lord and to ALL whom the Lord “prompts” to pass your way!!!

    • Pastor Roland, you are ever so kind. Thank you for your following and we never make a mistake in following the Lord. It isn’t always easy but we are always better for it. “I’ll go anywhere You want me to.” I said that, too and I got sent all over the country! I think we do sacrifice when we are obedient even though Samuel was right. He just didn’t say enough. lol Blessings to you.

  6. Thanks for the like on my latest post. I probably should have condensed it down a little. 🙂

  7. Thank you for your follow, Sue. I’m already impressed…not just by the number of times you’ve published, but the cheerful disposition your blog suggests you have. You’re clearly a woman of courage and strength. Recovery from abuse is a long journey. Whenever I encounter a fellow survivor, I feel I’ve met another “sister”. Blessings, A.

    • Thank you so much for your kindness. So many are in the process of overcoming all that was done to them and need much encouragement and support. It is a long and difficult journey and I pray more like you are willing to step out offering hope. Blessings to you as we lift others up in our prayers and reach out in love.

  8. Thank you kindly for the follow and I hope you find a blessing!

    • Thank you Anne. I do follow your blog and I thank you for following mine. Maybe if enough of us get the word out more will become aware and make an impact in helping children to overcome what has happened, or better yet – stop the abuse before it happens.
