In the Darkness of Night

It was a dark night with only the moon shining slightly through the darkness. The birds are quietly sleeping tucked way in their nests. The lions slink about through the brush waiting for a rabbit, a rodent, a stray dog or cat; anything that might wet their appetite.

Sitting at the foot of a tall tree a man sits munching quietly on an apple. He gazes up at the moon through the dark branches of the trees. Crunch, crunch can softly be heard as he chews the last of his apple.

Not far from him is another man. He leans against a tree trunk sucking the sweet nectar from the stem of a Honeysuckle flower, waiting. Waiting for what? He has no gun so he isn’t a hunter. He has no bow and arrow so he isn’t out to kill in the silence of the night. Or is he?

The man tosses his apple core a few feet away and looks back up at the sliver of moon. He stretches his legs and folds them under him to get a better grip on the dirt with his gnarled pain-filled feet.

Its been a rough life since the accident but with faith, prayer, and perseverance he has made it through the grueling physical limitations. Now he can walk but with great pain. Taking hold of the tree trunk he rises slowly. Looking out through the forest he can barely make out images, mostly more tree trunks, brush, and bramble. He sucks in a pain-filled breath and takes a step forward while pushing himself away from the tree.

The man spits out his flower as he watches. His shoulders relax, he stands tall and alert. He can see the other man struggling and knows he’s in pain. He can tell by the grimace on his face. He watches without moving.

Pushing a branch to the side the man takes another painful step and stops. He glances around while cocking his head. He’s heard something. Breathing quietly he waits. Is it an animal? Is someone watching him, following him? He waits.

The other man shakes his head in amazement thinking, “he knows I’m here.” He stands perfectly still and barely breathing he waits. He watches as the limping man shakes off his suspicions and slowly moves forward. One step, another, then another. He stops and leans against a tree trunk. In pain, he thinks, “Can I make it?”

Moving slowly the other man moves cautiously toward the hurting man.

Snap. A twig pops loudly as he steps down on it.

The limping man has shivers run up his spine and stops. He’s alert; body, soul, and mind. “Is that you?” He yells into the darkness.

Silence is the only reply.

“Is that you?” he yells again and jumps when a hand touches his shoulder.

“I’m here,” the soft voice replies close to His ear.

The man gives a sigh of relief and leans into the man standing beside him.

“I’m here. Be healed,” The man states softly.

Poof, He’s gone.

Looking around in amazement and surprise, the man takes a cautious step. Then another step. Then he begins to move a little faster. No limp, no pain. A grin fills his face and with joy and excitement he suddenly races through the woods back to his village.

“I’m healed!” He yells, “I’m healed,” he yells loudly while running through the village waking all who sleep.

Crowds gather around a campfire as he tells them how he met the Lord in the forest. “I believed and with just two words, ‘Be healed,’ the Lord healed me.”

And all praise God.

Dem Lawmaker Calls for Mandatory Vasectomies After Limited Number of Children

A Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives has introduced legislation to mandate vasectomies for men after they father three children or reach age 40, “whichever comes first.”

The bill — which refers to men as “inseminators” — empowers women to take civil action against those who “wrongfully conceive a child with them.” Further, the legislation from state Rep. Chris Rabb (D) would “codify ‘wrongful conception’ to include when a person has demonstrated negligence toward preventing conception during intercourse.”

Rabb’s bill would “also empower Pennsylvanians to enforce this new law by offering a $10,000 reward for reporting to the proper authorities those scofflaws who have not complied with this statute within the allotted timeframe.”

“As long as state legislatures continue to restrict the reproductive rights of cis women, trans men and non-binary people, there should be laws that address the responsibility of men who impregnate them,” wrote Rabb.

The legislative proposal is a response to the recently enacted Texas law banning abortion after the detection of a fetal heartbeat, which generally occurs six weeks after conception and often before women are even aware they’re pregnant.

The bill also allows private citizens to sue for $10,000 in damages for illicit terminations.“For far too long,” Rabb’s bill reads, “the public debate around abortion, contraception and related reproductive matters has thrust government into the center of restrictions on the bodily autonomy of women and girls.”

The Pennsylvania Democrat said his aim is to spark “meaningful dialogue around public policy focusing on the personal responsibility of cisgender men in this sphere” by calling attention to “their responsibility as inseminators to change their behaviors for the good of their partners, families, and society at large.”

The Wake-up Call

I heard a true story today and it hit me just how the Lord can knock us up side the head when we least expect it.

The sun has come up and is shining brightly through the open kitchen window. The birds are singing their good morning songs and the dew is still on the grass. A slight breeze rustles the window curtains as the woman stands at the stove flipping the bacon in the skillet.

The aroma of coffee and bacon fills the room as she softly hums Amazing Grace. Her husband slowly enters the room. He’s retired and the years of being in law enforcement have etched deep lines across his face. The years of sorrow he’s seen in the eyes of victims, the splattered blood on highways from car accidents, and the mean and ugly side of the underbelly of crime have taken their toll.

He reaches for the cup of hot coffee his wife has poured and is handing to him, taking it to the table, he lowers himself onto the chair. His wife reaches into the cabinet and takes 2 plates down and one small cereal bowl and sets them on the table.

Their five year old daughter appears in the doorway yawning and rubbing her eyes. “Good morning, sleepy head,” Mom states, and hands the little girl a small glass of orange juice. She takes it to the table and sits next to her daddy. He smiles at her, ruffles her hair, and goes back to sipping his coffee.

For several years the wife has asked her husband to go to church with her and every Sunday he declines. This beautiful morning is no different and once again, she asks, “Honey, would you like to come to church with us this morning?”

The little girl looks at him expectantly as he lowers his coffee mug and slightly shakes his head no. “We would really love for you to come. Its been so long.” His wife sadly replies.

Angrily he slams his fork down and states, “I said no! I deserve to go to hell!”

His daughter immediately places her spoon full of cereal back inside the bowl and states, “Mama, I’m not going to church this morning either.”

“Surprised, her mother asks, “Why?”

“I’m not going to church either because I want to go to hell with Daddy!”

Daddy’s fork suddenly stops in front of his gaping mouth and tears fill his eyes.

“The alter is open for any who wish to come and pray and ask the Lord Jesus into your heart,” the pastor states.

Daddy races down the aisle to the alter and falls sobbing onto his knees.

Humor is the Best Medicine

Nino GigolashviliJust For Jokes

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to the local grocery store. Unfortunately, like most men; I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out. Equally unfortunate, my wife is like most women – she loves to browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter, from the local store manager:

Dear Mrs. Harris: Over the past six months, your husband has caused quite a commotion, in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to, ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against your husband, Mr. Harris, are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras:

1. June 15: He took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in other people’s carts when they weren’t looking.

2. July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

3. July 7: He made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women’s restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, ‘Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away’. This caused the employee to leave her assigned station and receive a reprimand from her Supervisor that in turn resulted with a union grievance, causing management to lose time and costing the company money. We don’t have a Code 3.

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&Ms on layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a, ‘CAUTION – WET FLOOR’ sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department and told the children shoppers he’d invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department to which twenty children obliged.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began crying and screamed, ‘Why can’t you people just leave me alone?’ EMTs were called.

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and used it as a mirror while he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting department, he asked the clerk where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while, loudly humming the, ‘Mission Impossible’ theme.

12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his, ‘Madonna Look’ using different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people browsed through, yelled ‘PICK ME! PICK ME!’

14. October 22: When an announcement came over the loud speaker, he assumed a fetal position and screamed;’OH NO! IT’S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!’

15. Took a box of condoms to the checkout clerk and asked where is the fitting room? And last, but not least:

16. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door, waited awhile; then yelled very loudly, ‘Hey! There’s no toilet paper in here.’ One of the clerks passed out.

“Just the facts, Joe, Just the Facts.”

CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW MY COMMENTARY.

For the past 2 years we have been inundated with false news, some news that has a speck of truth, and other news that will say it like it is.

There are those who believe this entire upheaval over the “Jab” (Covid 19 shot), wearing of masks, and social distancing, is the democrat administration wanting to control people and destroy the American economy in order to fulfill their socialism/communism agenda. They also believe Bill Gates admission to his goal in life is to drastically reduce the worlds population “to save the world” through the administration of this shot.

And there are those who believe the sun rises and sets in the democrats and they can do no wrong and “are doing what is best for humanity as a whole” so they accuse others of a different opinion to be spouting conspiracy theories and can’t be trusted or believed.

There are also those who will refuse to watch this short video in fear that their misguided ideas and beliefs (of course they don’t believe they are misguided) will somehow be altered and those who may watch a minute and with great disgust poo-poo reality.

There are those that will appreciate the facts behind what they are watching, do some research to back up what they have seen and make their own decisions.

This administration, and the Obama administration, in my opinion, has made an unbelievable over-the-top effort to distort facts, divide the American people, not only over this shot, but racially, and have caused this country to be an embarrassment and the laughing stock of the world. You can call me nuts, a stinking Republican, a terrorists, part of a cult, or any other name you choose but the facts speak for themselves! And those facts, not just in this video, but many other articles and video’s from Doctors, Chemists, Biologists, Pathologists, scientists of all kinds are proving this shot is not only dangerous but deadly! And that wearing masks do more harm than good!

I have no intention of debating this video, nor arguing with anyone about it! It confirms what I believe from all the research, articles, and other videos available for us to see and read. It is up to each individual to make their own choice as to what they believe.

As for me, the Jab, an experimental shot with deadly ingredients being injected in humans and using us as their Genia Pigs, will NEVER be put in this living body! And I only wear a mask within the compounds of a hospital!

I pray blind eyes will be opened and deaf ears will hear and stone hearts will be softened. In Jesus Most Holy Name. Amen and Amen.

INGREDIENTS IN THE VACCINES

YOU CAN VIEW ALL OF THESE INGREDIENTS ON THE CDC’S WEBSITE. I encourage everyone to do their own research. Look up the MSDS on these chemicals. Read the thousands of peer reviewed studies that have evaluated the biological consequences these chemicals can have on the body, especially when being injected.
@NicholasVeniamin

✅INGREDIENTS TO VACCINES – You CANNOT make an educated decision without being educated.
Here are just SOME vaccine ingredients.
These are being INJECTED into your kids;
◾️Formaldehyde/Formalin – Highly toxic systematic poison and carcinogen.
◾️Betapropiolactone – Toxic chemical and carcinogen. May cause death/permanent injury after very short exposure to small quantities. Corrosive chemical.
◾️Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide – May cause damage to the liver, cardiovascular system, and central nervous system. May cause reproductive effects and birth defects.
◾️Aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate, and aluminum salts – Neurotoxin. Carries risk for long term brain inflammation/swelling, neurological disorders, autoimmune disease, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and autism. It penetrates the brain where it persists indefinitely.
◾️Thimerosal (mercury) – Neurotoxin. Induces cellular damage, reduces oxidation-reduction activity, cellular degeneration, and cell death. Linked to neurological disorders, Alzheimer’s, dementia, and autism.
◾️Polysorbate 80 & 20 – Trespasses the Blood-Brain Barrier and carries with it aluminum, thimerosal, and viruses; allowing it to enter the brain.

Human Ecosystems Need Exposure

Stories from Central Australia and beyond

By Helen TindallWe have a simple message to all countries – test, test, test”.~

WHO Director General, Tedros Gebreyesus, 16.03.2020

In the same press conference, Tedros went on to claim that without the testing of all suspected COVID-19 cases, they could not be isolated and the chain of infection could not be broken. On 24 May 2021, he declared that the pandemic “will not be over until and unless transmission is controlled in every last country”.As a result of this test and trace idea, mass SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing has been undertaken globally.  In unwell individuals there has been a fixation on SARS-CoV-2 testing to the exclusion of other possible diagnoses.  Healthy individuals have been forced to take tests, stay home, close businesses, wear masks, physically  distance and follow many other locally determined lockdown policies.  This response ignores the fact that serious illness occurs mainly in the elderly and those whose immune systems are already frail due to pre-existing chronic conditions.  Measures to protect the vulnerable would have been a much more targeted and realistic objective whilst causing far less societal devastation.

Viruses, Bacteria, Fungi and Humans – a complex ecosystemWith a highly transmissible respiratory virus causing minimal symptoms in most individuals, the lockdown response also ignores the complex microscopic ecosystem which humans unwittingly host. Defined as an organ in its own right, the human microbiome consists of communities of microbes (bacteria, viruses and fungi) residing in and on the human body.  The “virome” describes the viruses in our microbiome, and those communities of viruses that move in and out of our respiratory tract via the mere act of breathing, are known as the “respiratory virome”.

The sole aim of the organisms in our microbiome is their own survival, which is assisted in various ways by the human body hosting them. Harming their host is harmful to the organisms themselves, who rely on human life for survival.  Any harm an infectious agent causes its hosts tends to be incidental and usually relates to the individual’s health status and ability to mount an immune response.  For example, SARS-CoV-2 cannot easily establish itself in an immature immune system for multiple reasons, so children are at extremely low risk of Covid-19 disease (Reference).  Simultaneously, the same immaturity which protects against Covid-19 makes children more susceptible to other respiratory diseases such as Influenza.

The respiratory virome consists of a combination of potentially harmful viruses, those  with an unknown ability for harm, and those  which protect our health by competing against and damaging or killing other potentially harmful microbes.  When exposure occurs at a stage in life when there is minimal risk of developing disease from a specific microbe, even those which can cause disease are helpful, by training our immune system to recognise and fight them.  Developing immunity without becoming unwell is the ideal scenario.

Healthy newborn babies have complete but immature immune systems, which rely on exposure from the moment of birth in order to develop.  Within the first few hours of life, a large number of microbes establish on the newborn’s skin, in the oral cavity and gut, and in the respiratory tract (reference).

Exposure occurs via close maternal contact, beginning with natural birth occurring next to the anus, thus ensuring immediate transfer of large amounts of maternal gut flora to the baby.  A mother then touches, breathes on and remains in close personal contact with her baby almost constantly.  Because maternal immunity is passed onto the baby via the bloodstream antenatally, and via breast milk postnatally, babies have temporary immunity to the microbes this contact exposes them to.  This provides time and training for the newborn immune system to develop independently.

Exposure can also be a risk to infant health due to the fragility of immature immune systems.  Respiratory infections are a leading cause of illness and death in infancy.  However, close contact with healthy individuals offers low-risk exposure, giving the infant’s immune system time and practice to develop and mature.  Promoting immune health by exclusive breastfeeding, adequate sleep and low levels of stress are important protective mechanisms.

An example of viral transmission dynamics and human health is the reinfection which occurs throughout the human lifespan with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (Reference).  Abbreviated to RSV, this virus is a significant component of the respiratory virome.  It is also one of the main viral causes of lower respiratory tract infections worldwide (Reference).  The first infection with RSV in early life is usually the most severe.  Subsequent reinfections tend to be milder, due partly to protective immunity resulting from prior infection.

A lifetime of reinfection with RSV confers levels of antibodies in the pregnant woman, which are passed on to the unborn baby and last for a number of months after birth.  As this passive immunity wanes, the infant becomes susceptible to disease when exposed.  Most infants experience their first RSV related illness between nine months to two years of age (Reference).  Up to 3% of these primary infections require hospitalisation (Reference) and globally up to 200,000 children under the age of five die due to RSV infection each year (Reference).  Reinfection occurs throughout the individual’s lifespan and most infections after the age of five tend to be mild, until the immune system becomes frail either from old age, or due to immune suppression such as during chemotherapy treatment.

When enough individuals have at least partial immunity to a potentially harmful organism, vulnerable populations are more likely to be protected.  This demonstrates the important role that our microbiome and its components, including the respiratory virome, play in human health.  Two excellent examples of this are outlined below in relation to Covid-19 and RSV.

A study in Scotland in 2020 (Reference) found that adults living in households with health care workers were at less risk from Covid-19 disease if children were also living in the household. As the numbers of resident children increased, the risk of Covid-19 disease in household contacts reduced. This supports a likely hypothesis that children carry tiny amounts of SARS-CoV-2 virus in their respiratory virome, and that transmission from children to adults is protective rather than harmful.

In July 2021 New Zealand and Australia, who have both been lauded for their lockdown and physical  distancing practices in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, have reported high rates of children being hospitalised with RSV infection.  Lockdown practices may have reduced exposures to SARS-CoV-2, although there are other possibilities for the pattern of Covid-19 disease in this region.  However, outbreaks of RSV suggest that respiratory viromes have also had less exposure to other viruses which, when present in enough of the population, normally offer protection to vulnerable groups.  Due to a lack of population immunity, these groups now face higher risk of disease. .

In conclusion, it is clear that within the delicate microscopic ecosystems humans inhabit, obstructing exposure to a range of pathogens threatens, rather than protects, public health.  The indiscriminate testing of healthy individuals and extreme measures implemented with the aim of blocking transmission of a single virus – as promoted by the WHO – ultimately appears to have had a detrimental rather than beneficial effect on public health._____________________________________________________

A Wonderful True Story

No photo description available.

Anna Bo

This is a wonderful true story. You will be glad that you read it, and I hope you will pass it on.

It happened every Friday evening, almost without fail, when the sun resembled a giant orange and was starting to dip into the blue ocean. Old Ed came strolling along the beach to his favorite pier. Clutched in his bony hand was a bucket of shrimp.

Ed walks out to the end of the pier, where it seems he almost has the world to himself. The glow of the sun is a golden bronze now.Everybody’s gone, except for a few joggers on the beach. Standing out on the end of the pier, Ed is alone with his thoughts…and his bucket of shrimp. Before long, however, he is no longer alone.

Up in the sky a thousand white dots come screeching and squawking, winging their way toward that lanky frame standing there on the end of the pier. Before long, dozens of seagulls have enveloped him, their wings fluttering and flapping wildly.

Ed stands there tossing shrimp to the hungry birds. As he does, if you listen closely, you can hear him say with a smile, ‘Thank you. Thank you.’In a few short minutes the bucket is empty. But Ed doesn’t leave. He stands there lost in thought, as though transported to another time and place.

When he finally turns around and begins to walk back toward the beach, a few of the birds hop along the pier with him until he gets to the stairs, and then they, too, fly away. And old Ed quietly makes his way down to the end of the beach and on home.

If you were sitting there on the pier with your fishing line in the water, Ed might seem like ‘a funny old duck,’ as my dad used to say. Or, to onlookers, he’s just another old codger, lost in his own weird world, feeding the seagulls with a bucket full of shrimp.

To the onlooker, rituals can look either very strange or very empty. They can seem altogether unimportant …..maybe even a lot of nonsense. Old folks often do strange things, at least in the eyes of Boomers and Millennials. Most of them would probably write Old Ed off, down there in Florida … That’s too bad. They’d do well to know him better.

His full name: Eddie Rickenbacker. He was a famous hero in World War I, and then he was in WWII. On one of his flying missions across the Pacific, he and his seven-member crew went down. Miraculously, all of the men survived, crawled out of their plane, and climbed into a life raft.

Captain Rickenbacker and his crew floated for days on the rough waters of the Pacific. They fought the sun. They fought sharks. Most of all, they fought hunger and thirst. By the eighth day their rations ran out. No food. No water. They were hundreds of miles from land and no one knew where they were or even if they were alive.

Every day across America millions wondered and prayed that Eddie Rickenbacker might somehow be found alive. The men adrift needed a miracle. That afternoon they had a simple devotional service and prayed for a miracle. They tried to nap. Eddie leaned back and pulled his military cap over his nose. Time dragged on. All he could hear was the slap of the waves against the raft…suddenly Eddie felt something land on the top of his cap. It was a seagull!

Old Ed would later describe how he sat perfectly still, planning his next move. With a flash of his hand and a squawk from the gull, he managed to grab it and wring its neck. He tore the feathers off, and he and his starving crew made a meal of it – a very slight meal for eight men. Then they used the intestines for bait. With it, they caught fish, which gave them food and more bait….and the cycle continued. With that simple survival technique, they were able to endure the rigors of the sea until they were found and rescued after 24 days at sea.

Eddie Rickenbacker lived many years beyond that ordeal, but he never forgot the sacrifice of that first life-saving seagull… And he never stopped saying, ‘Thank you.’ That’s why almost every Friday night he would walk to the end of the pier with a bucket full of shrimp and a heart full of gratitude.

Eddie Rickenbacker was the founder of Eastern Airlines. Before WWI he was race car driver. In WWI he was a pilot and became America’s first ace. In WWII he was an instructor and military adviser, and he flew missions with the combat pilots. Eddie Rickenbacker is a true American hero. And now you know another story about the trials and sacrifices that brave men have endured for your freedom. As you can see, I chose to pass this story along as it was passed to me from my father. It is a great story that many don’t know…I think it exemplifies a couple of life’s lessons to be remembered. You’ve got to be careful with old guys, you just never know what they have done during their lifetime. It also speaks to me about how we never know what we adversity we might face, but when we put our talent both mentally and physically together, we can overcome, but we must never forget what we learned and to remember to thank those that helped pull us through even if it was as something seemingly meaningless as a seagull and to pay it forward.
