SHOCKING: Catholic University Brought in ‘Abortion Doula’ who Coaches Pregnant Men Through Giving Birth

SHOCKING: Catholic University Brought in ‘Abortion Doula’ who Coaches Pregnant Men Through Giving Birth
ON JANUARY 29, 2024 BY GERI UNGUREANIN NO PREGNANT MEN
PURE INSANITY!
First of all, please understand that there is NO SUCH THING as a pregnant man. And if you are a person who has bought into this lunacy, you need to get your head out of the sand and understand that the trans movement (and most of the medical world) are lying to us!

They are DARING us to speak out as I am doing. I might even be arrested for stating the truth, but at this point – I don’t care. TRUTH is more important than allowing people to buy into these LIES!

Before you read the Daily Signal piece, I want you to read what may be the MOST honest article about sex-reassignment surgeries.

Transgender Surgery Isn’t the Solution by Dr. Paul McHugh from Johns Hopkins

Excerpt:

“At the heart of the problem is confusion over the nature of the transgendered. “Sex change” is biologically impossible. People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women. Claiming that this is civil-rights matter and encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.” by Dr. Paul McHugh – former head of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins.

A self-declared “abortion doula” spoke this week to Catholic University of America students about her experiences coaching women through delivering or aborting babies, as well as coaching “pregnant men” to deliver in what she called a “seahorse birth,” according to audio of the class lecture obtained by The Daily Signal.

A Catholic University nursing student described Tuesday’s lecture to The Daily Signal, saying the guest speaker said she also practices Reiki, a controversial Japanese method of spiritual healing and self-improvement.

The Roman Catholic school confirmed that the doula spoke to the class, said she didn’t represent the school’s values, and vowed that she wouldn’t speak to the class again.

“It was really unsettling,” nursing student Felipe Avila, 20, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Friday. “The fundamental point is to understand human development from conception to natural death, right? And they brought in someone who counsels women to terminate life.”

Psychology lecturer Melissa Goldberg invited the doula, Rachel Carbonneau, to address her class, titled Psychology 379: Lifespan Development.

The term doula usually refers to a professional who provides physical and emotional support to a woman before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, defines an abortion doula as someone who “provides physical and emotional support to a patient during their abortion process.”

Carbonneau identified herself to the class as an “abortion doula,” according to the audio recording obtained by The Daily Signal. The founder and CEO of the LGBTQ-aligned doula company Family Ways also was an English lecturer at Catholic University from 2005 to 2008, her LinkedIn profile says.

Avila, the nursing student, said he first recognized the doula’s misalignment with the Catholic school’s values when Carbonneau began “using terms like birthing persons [and] pregnant person.” The lecturer was “very strategic in avoiding the word ‘woman,’” Avila said.

One of Avila’s classmates repeatedly asked Carbonneau how abortion ties into her work as a doula, which prompted the lecturer to share her pro-abortion stance openly.

“This is a space I feel comfortable navigating,” the doula said in response to questions.

Carbonneau also described what she called “seahorse birth.”

Listen here:

“We work with trans clients,” Carbonneau told students, according to the audio. “I have some men who have given birth; it’s amazing, we call it seahorse birth. It’s lovely, especially when it’s a water birth; it’s fantastic.”

Female seahorses still produce eggs and male seahorses fertilize them, but male seahorses incubate the young in a special pouch, from which the young emerge. This does not mean male seahorses become female, but they do appear to “give birth,” in a sense, so pro-transgender activists claim that when a “transgender man” gives birth, that is similar to a male seahorse doing so.

She insisted: “It’s not my business as a doula or a human being to pass judgment on how anybody else chooses to live their life.”

When discussing the stigma of “pregnant men,” Carbonneau urged students to “normalize” the discussion of women who identify as men giving birth.

“I think just normalizing it, right? Using the gender-neutral language, talking about pregnant men as pregnant people, pregnant women, pregnant men, pregnant humans,” she told the class.

Carbonneau acknowledged the tension between her support for abortion and the Catholic position on the issue, saying she herself had studied at the university.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that abortion is a “moral evil” and “gravely contrary to the moral law.”

The doula’s presentation Tuesday at Catholic University felt “unsettling,” Avila said. The student pointed out that “one of the many reasons that students like me and many of my peers made the decision to attend Catholic University is for that Catholic identity.”

“The university should not wait for there to be public pressure or a public outcry for there to be some kind of change … if they want to preserve the Catholic identity, then they need to take these things a lot more seriously,” Avila added.

Carbonneau said she uses Reiki, a Japanese spiritual healing technique condemned by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops as incompatible with Christian teaching and scientific evidence. In 2009, the conference said that “it would be inappropriate for Catholic institutions … to promote or to provide support for Reiki therapy.”

On Friday, Catholic University acknowledged the contradiction between Carbonneau’s support for abortion and the institution’s own values.

“The Catholic University of America was appalled to learn about reports regarding this guest speaker,” the university told The Daily Signal in a written statement Friday. “It does not reflect our mission and values as a university that is committed to upholding the dignity of life at all stages.”

“The guest speaker will not be speaking again to the class, and we are re-communicating the terms and expectations by which all outside speakers are vetted and invited,” the university, added, referring to Carbonneau.

The Daily Signal sought comment from Carbonneau, but did not immediately receive a response. source

Please understand that when you read/hear that a MAN has given birth to a baby – what is actually being said is that this person was born as a woman but has identified as a man. In other words this person has a Uterus!!!

Hopefully, this clears things up. When you read that a man has given birth to a baby, I pray that you will think back to the truths in this article.

Girl Scouts are Earning SODOMITE Patches: Child Evangelism Fellowship Seeks to Reach 100M Children with the Gospel, Urges Christians to Mobilize

ON  BY GERI UNGUREANIN CHILD EVANGELISM FELLOWSHIP

Please forward this post to everyone you know! Do you remember the Backyard Bible Clubs led by members of Child Evangelism Fellowship?

With Satan raging because he knows his time is short – we MUST share the Gospel with children who are being indoctrinated by Satan’s minions!

Let’s start with an alarming article which will show clearly what our enemy is up to regarding our children:

From chick.com

GIRL SCOUTS CAN NOW EARN A SODOMITE PATCHSheridan Family, Missionaries To Chile

The organization of mama bears called “One Million Moms” is exposing another low in the moral decline of the Girl Scouts.

They quote the organization’s website:

“The Girl Scout LGBTQ+ Pride Month Celebration Fun Patch is designed for Girl Scouts of all levels and their leaders to honor LGBTQ+ history, celebrate their diverse cultures and identities of LGBTQ+ people, and acknowledge the many contributions that the LGBTQ+ community has made and continues to make across our nation. Girls and leaders have plenty of activities to choose from to earn this fun patch and we encourage Girl Scouts of all identities to participate.”

In order to earn the patch, here are some of the activities listed:

  • Sketch a portrait of a member of the LGBTQ+ community who you admire.
  • Make a LGBTQ+ music playlist.
  • Create art that celebrates how families come in all kinds.
  • Participate in No Name-Calling Week, which is sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN).
  • Attend an LGBTQ+ Pride celebration.

One Million Moms also notes that this is only a continuation of the Scouts’ moral decline. This slide began several years ago with their support of abortion, Planned Parenthood type sexual education, and other homosexual agendas.

They also point out that only 10 to 20% of the revenue from the Girl Scout cookie sales goes to the local troop. The rest goes to the Girl Scouts USA organization collected as royalty on its trademark. Some of the money then goes to support these perverted agendas.

Unfortunately, the Girl Scouts are not alone in this march to evil.

Mike De Socio is a “queer journalist” writing for the Washington Post. He covered the Boy Scout National Jamboree this summer in W. Virginia and was pleased with what he saw. Among the hundreds of tents was one, “…decorated with a canopy of LGBTQ Pride flags and a string of multicolored lights, its tables covered with bowls of rainbow bracelets, pronoun stickers and diversity patches.”

The tent must have been large because one volunteer told De Socio that there had been up to 2000 kids in the tent at once. The volunteer said:

“But it was all curiosity, and how do I help, rather than [hostility]. So it’s all been incredibly welcoming and positive.”

But the scouts have paid a price.

After admitting homosexual men into their leadership in 2015, transsexual boys in 2017, and girls in 2018, they have lost nearly half their membership. Indeed, the Jamboree was attended by about 15,000 compared to the 40,000 that showed up in 2017.

Shortly after this “openness to diversity,” the organization was hit by 80,000 claims of sexual abuse. The $2.46 billion settlement bankrupted the organization. De Socio tries to spin this to the positive by claiming that it created a shift in focus by the Scouts evidenced by a “diversity, equity, and inclusion merit badge” becoming required for Eagle Scout rank.

To demonstrate how pervasive this is in the organization, De Socio visited the tent set up for girls. There, a 19-year-old “bisexual” volunteer told him:

“I know the people that are coming through here, like trans, nonbinary youth, the queer youth, are having a great time seeing themselves represented in a space that they love so much, that is scouting.”

Fortunately, when the Boy Scouts began to fail, another organization was formed in 2014 to provide an alternative. It is called Trail Life USA and already has over 1,000 troops with an auxiliary called America Heritage Girls and a strong reputation for helping to keep the kids on the straight and narrow.

This shocking attack on the innocence of our children is further evidence that we need to get the gospel out while we still have the freedom to do it. source

NOW LET’S LOOK AT GOD’S ARMY AND HIS STRATEGY TO BRING THESE CHILDREN BACK TO THE FOLD:

From christianpost.com

Child Evangelism Fellowship seeks to reach 100M children with the Gospel, urges Christians to mobilize

About Child Evangelism Fellowship®

When it comes to missions, Child Evangelism Fellowship believes one of the most important — and overlooked — groups is children.

“One of the most beautiful passages in the Bible that reflects the heart of God is concerning children,” CEF Executive Vice President Moises Esteves told The Christian Post.

Psalms 78 says we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord and His power and the wonders that He has done. The government is not going to do it. God wants believers to communicate to the children, to the next generation, about the knowledge of God. That’s our responsibility. Someone one day communicated with us, and it is now our responsibility to communicate with the next generation.”

CEF, an international nonprofit ministry, has been unwavering in its mission since 1937: ensuring every child is reached with the Gospel, spiritually nurtured and integrated into a local church.

Located in all 50 American states and in most countries around the world, CEF’s newly-established goal is to minister to 100 million children each year globally with the Gospel in the near future.

To reach this goal, CEF has established several in-person ministries, including the Good News Club. Described by Esteves as “an hour to an hour and 15 minutes, sort of a high-powered Sunday School,” these clubs combine fun with Gospel-centric teaching.

“It’s a lot of fun, but a lot of learning, and we share the Gospel so the unsaved child can have an opportunity to receive Christ as their Savior,” he said.

And in 2022 alone, CEF trained nearly half a million teachers worldwide. Esteves highlighted the importance of ensuring teachings are “biblically consistent while also culturally sensitive.” The methodology, he said, involves producing literature with strong biblical principles, which is then translated with cultural nuances in mind.

“If the child is interested in receiving Christ, what do you do? They need to be trained in how to counsel the child for salvation, and then there’s a whole slew of skills that need to be trained and understood when you minister to children,” he said.

“The structure is in place, the boots are on the ground to grow this ministry exponentially. And we have strict strategies, like children reaching children, which is teaching older, more mature children to evangelize their peers. It’s a beautiful training that we’re accelerating in the coming years.”

Esteves, a father and grandfather of two, understands firsthand the power of reaching children with the Gospel.

Born in Portugal, he first encountered the Gospel at a Christian camp at the age of 9, and unbeknown to him at that time, the missionary sharing the Gospel utilized CEF literature.

His life took another twist when he moved to the U.S. after marrying a woman from Vermont. By 1993, the couple found their calling with CEF in Vermont, eventually leading Esteves to the headquarters in Missouri.

“I’ve had the opportunity to share Christ with my own children growing up, and my two grandchildren, who are 8 and 6, both have autism. This morning I prayed for their salvation, but one of them is nonverbal, so it’s going to take a little longer to be able to share Christ with them so they can understand it. It’s extremely important to minister to children. There’s an openness in the hearts of children that we must take advantage of,” he said.

Drawing from a study by George Barna, Esteves emphasized the critical window between the ages of 5 and 12 when children are most receptive to the Gospel.

“All evangelism is child evangelism,” he added.

However, challenges do arise. Esteves identified finances as a significant impediment as well as getting Christians involved with the organization.

“If we had the money, we could hire another 1,000 people,” he said. “We’re a volunteer-based organization. So we have lots and lots of volunteers trained all over the world who could become staff if we had the funding. … We need more believers to catch this burden, this vision that it is our responsibility to tell the next generation the knowledge of God.”

Esteves said the success stories he hears make the challenges worth it, like the one involving twin sisters who not only embraced Christ through the Good News Club but were instrumental in leading their parents to salvation.

He also highlighted the impact their ministry has worldwide, especially in Europe, where large-scale operations are undertaken in countries like Ukraine and Russia.

“The reports we’re getting out of Ukraine of the ministry that’s taking place is mind-boggling, what God is doing in the midst of that very sad situation is amazing,” he said.

Yet, there are regions like North Korea where direct missionary work is unfeasible due to political constraints, Esteves said. External challenges, be they natural disasters or political upheaval, don’t deter the spread of the Gospel, he insisted. In fact, in times of suffering, many seek solace in faith, as evidenced by packed churches in Ukraine amid conflict.

“There are political challenges, there are sometimes situations with fires and hurricanes and earthquakes. There are challenges or difficulties, but none of those challenges stopped the Gospel and, as a matter of fact, as this world hurts, people need the Gospel even more.”

And looking ahead, Esteves said he’s “excited” about the future and the opportunity to bring the Gospel to millions of children through CEF — and he’s hoping to mobilize the wider Christian community to come on board.

“Children need the hope of the Gospel, they need the hope that God can give into their lives,” he said. “There’s a great need for the Gospel. The doors are open, and we just need more believers to get on board. Let’s reach children for Christ while they’re young, while their hearts are open, because as they grow up, the backpack of sin begins to be heavy, and hearts begin to harden.” source

Brethren – this is a WAR and we must NEVER forget that. It is NOT a war against people, but the Bible clearly shows us who we are battling:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”  (Ephesians 6:12).

I’m Mad at the Deer!

Living out in the country is peaceful, quiet, and lots of animals we don’t see in the “asphalt jungles.” Deer being one of them.

For some time now, years, I have fed them corn in what I call their dinner dish. Those babies are soooo cute!

This has been going on for at least ten years and okay, they would pluck the beautiful roses off the bush , grrrrrrr, and one seemed to like the Rose of Sharon flowers, and okay, I really got mad when they devoured my Hosta’s on the hill.

But for some reason this year they are attacking flowers and bushes they have NEVER gotten after before, and I’m not the only one who is having this problem. A simple explanation can be, “well, they’re just hungry.” NOPE. It has to be something else going on because of this sudden, and I mean sudden, need to destroy our gardens. One even picked every tomato off my plant on a cement patio, even the green ones! They don’t like rocks or cement normally.

So I have joined others in our determination to save our flowers and fruit trees from these beautiful but destructive predators of nature. I have a rock garden with big beautiful Hosta next to the house. They’ve been there 13 years! My friendly deer, that I stopped feeding corn to 2 years ago because of expense, have discovered them and … want revenge.

Ohhhh that did it!

They have also destroyed my rose bush so I found a solution for that —- hopefully. I was in Walmart garden center and told the lady that was watering I want any plant that is deer repulsive. Yes, REPULSIVE! She led me to BEE BALM. She said they hate the smell of it and will leave the plant alone as well as others near it. She has several of them in her yard. After taking a quick whiff of it I can certainly agree with the deer, so I bought several of them and planted one on each side of my rose bushes. They have a very pretty small purple flower and will spread out like ground cover.

Now for the Hosta, what in the world can I do to save those? Suddenly “Pinwheels” popped in my head so I set out on a hunt for pinwheels and finally found some for a $1.25 each at the Dollar Tree store. My rock garden may look like a party is about to take place but I guarantee the deer won’t like those spinning colorful “leaf’s” going around and around.

And oh, I forgot – New plum trees. I have 2 and yes, you can guess, so through some research I chose one suggestion and it seems to be working. Wind chimes! I hung a small wind chime in each tree so it hangs free and will “chime” them away when they reach for a succulent leaf or come close. I have wire fences around my large blooming Cherry trees because the bucks, young and old, like to rub their horns on the trunk. They almost killed one of the trees before I discovered what was happening.

Speaking of succulent, my roommate has a small succulent in a pot and she sets it at the edge her patio for the sun. A deer pulled the succulent right out of the pot and then spit it out on the ground when he/she didn’t like the taste!

A lady that I was told about said her flower garden of 10 years was literally destroyed. Every flower was plucked off and some even uprooted. What she did is get those plastic flowers and plants and stuck them around in her garden and after a few nasty plastic chomps from the deer they don’t get near her garden anymore. Fake plastic flowers sure worked for her.

The tomato plant has new tomatoes and has been pushed back farther on the patio with, you guessed it…

So ladies if you’re having the same problem with deer destroying your gardens this might give you some ideas. I used the deer and rabbit repellant spray and it works fine as long as it doesn’t rain. But its expensive and has to be applied after every rain.

I hope this helps and happy gardening. Lets all pray that whatever is going on with the deer this year will STOP!
