Sexual abuse occurs in 1 of 3 girls by the time they are 18 and 1in 5 boys. Most churches have survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Love them, support them, and pray for them. Dear Sue . . .thank you. I know that someone has been helped by you sharing this today. It’s been awhile back, but a blogger who had DID committed suicide. She left behind a husband and son. She was blogging about her journey and started to receive some really nasty comments. Not long after that, she ended her life. The statistics on abuse are brutal. God bless you!

Hi Debbie: That just makes me sick! I’ll never understand how people can be so vicious. I hope and pray that the information I am putting out there does help others, not just victims but others, too. Hopefully bringing some understanding and compassion towards victims. Thank you for your encouragement and support. Blessings to you.

Thank you for sharing this. I didn’t know D.I.D was real but from reading the post it is VERY real. More people need to be aware of it. It is sad to hear what Debbie shared, Someone committing suicide because people don’t understand…..
