The Fast Train

A whistle breaks the silence, wheels speed across the tracks, smoke billows filling the air with white steam as the train speeds along the tracks.

There’s only one car to this train and only two stops. It’s filled with passengers from all walks of life. A lady, dressed in fine silk, jewels dangling from her ears, neck, and wrists. Her fine feathered hat sits proudly on styled hair. Her husband sits beside her typing on his laptop computer, paying no attention to her constant babble.

Families sit together with their children gaping out the window at the scenery as it speeds by. The scowl of a mother catches the Conductors eye. He smiles but she snarls under her breath and digs an elbow into her husbands side. He grunts and ignores her.

A few teenagers, with their multi-colored hair, nose rings, tattooed bodies, and slouchy pants, sit slouched on the benches discussing the latest horror movie and Rap song with its lyrics of back to back cuss words and condemnation of all that is good. The Conductor stops beside them. They don’t acknowledge Him.  He states, “Follow Me.” They ignore Him. He rubs the dust off His shoe on His pants leg and moves on.

As He approaches another group tears threaten to spill. Women in ragged dresses, men in torn dirty shirts and infants in dirty diapers fill a corner in the back of the compartment. Half eaten sandwiches are set aside and heads bow in praise and thanksgiving as the Conductor steps among them.

The Conductor touches the shoulder of a lame man, “Be healed,” the Conductor states. The man immediately jumps to his feet and runs in a circle shouting, “Praise God, I can walk!”

The Conductor moves to a woman with an infant with a cleft lip. He smiles down at the infant and with compassion, looks heavenward, whispers a prayer, and places His finger on the child’s lip. It’s instantly healed and the baby smiles brightly. The mother cries tears of joy and thanks Him.

None of the Conductors actions have gone unnoticed. Some begin praising, others shout, “Hosanna,” and yet others raise a questioning eyebrow and announce, “it’s a trick!”

The fast train begins to slow. Some begin gathering their fine leather bags, others pick up the toys of their children while others kneel in praise and thanksgiving for the blessings of a meager meal and the warmth of the compartment.

The fast train stops and the door slides open. The Conductor stands beside it and as one passenger after another line up to exit, the Conductor announces, “Many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.” *

He points His finger at the ragged group in the back of the line and states loudly, “You, My children, step forward. For those who believe shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Angry shouts fill the compartment, some try to shove their way through the door. Many stand quietly waiting to be called forward. As the line moves forward, the Conductor instructs some to return to their seat, others, He smiles and tells them they have been “good and faithful servants.” Each child is given a loving hug as He tells them to be careful stepping off the train.

The engine of the fast train roars to life, steam bellows forth, and a  loud clank is heard as the door slams shut and the fast train speeds off down the track for the last stop. The majority remain aboard.

Most assuredly I say unto you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” John 3:3

Only Repentance Can Stop You From the Eternal Fires of Hell

“Go in faith My people of the cross. Your words shall bring forth persecution yet many shall hear and rejoice.

The tides are swelling. The land is ripe with dissension and prejudice. Let your words be your sword for it is through My word that shall stop the battle.

Put on the full armor given to you and stand firm for the enemy is on his way. He shall attack when least expected. He shall entice, cajole, ridicule. Be aware that his army stands ready for his command.

Your armies, tanks, and commanders are lost in the war of sin. Only repentance can stop you from the eternal fires of hell. Reach out in faith and hold back your foes. Cling to the word of the Lord.

Time is near when all shall bow and heavens gates shall swing wide. Follow the path that I have laid out, for each of you have a destiny to fulfill.

My word stands, My truth prevails for all shall see the winds blow across the nations carrying with it the wrath for all who rebuke My word.

Take heed O’ leaders for your downfall is near. You cajole My truth and act so wise. Yet your foolishness shall bring you embarrassment and cheeks as red as a new bride.

Fall on your face and seek Mine for you shall be as a serpent if you reject My truth. Lead not My people to war for you shall lose. My people shall rejoice as the blood flows from your fallen soldiers.

You resist and I shall bring you down O’ nations of decadence. You shall fall as a tree in a storm, as tidal waves that hit the shores leaving nothing behind but destruction. O’ leaders across the land, your folly shall end in your demise taking the innocent along your muddy paths.

Walk tall My children for your Savior shall sweep you out of harms way. Your final destiny shall bring no pain. My gates are open, My arms yearn for all to embrace My love. Few shall see the heavens rewards for the path to hell is wide.

Rejoice O’ loved ones for I await. Your songs of praise lift My heart, My eyes shed tears of overflowing love. Reach out to those in pain for their hearts are empty from the world’s abuse. Words of hate flow like rivers down a hill spreading its vile disease of bitterness along the banks of everlasting cruelty.

Reach out O’ loved ones and catch the falling people who lose their grip and fall from grace. Kiss their heart with your kindness and love for their heart needs the passion of loving caresses. My comfort shall fill them as a jar being filled with honey. My love is everlasting.

Bring them to Me and all shall see how love can fill the largest of empties. This earthly time is short but eternity waits. My mercy is new each day, so many may face the trials of time. Time everlasting needs no mercy for you shall be joining the Father at His throne. Rejoice.”

A House not made with hands

images[4]

“For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked.

For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.

Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

So we are always confident, knowing that while we are home in the body we are absent from the Lord.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” 2Cor. 5:1-8 NKJV
